Not to shit on anyone’s day...but I don’t think many people are really paying attention to this anymore.

In all likelihood we will see the end of civilization as we know it within a very short time now, sooner than a decade.
I have always held on to hope tightly, in fact for dear life you might say. I am still trying, but this is the closest we have ever come to Midnight since 1953. We are but two small minutes away.
There are many factors that control the passage of time on this particula clock. Especially today, we have climate change, diseases that were once controlled with vaccines that are returning in mutated and difficult to treat forms and now that Trump is in the first steps of abandoning the nuclear arms treaty altogether, we are in a perilous place.

Nobody is really doing anything en masse to stop this. Many talk the talk, but too few are actually making a difference. There should be mass protests like there were in the eighties, world wide calling for a stop to the insanity, like calling for nuclear arms reduction and total disarmament as they did then. 

But few voices are raised anymore.

Do we resign ourselves to the fact that it is going to happen? Is it a matter of “so what’s the point” or are we as a species and a rare one at that in cosmic terms, going to do anything at all?
This is not about individual action, this is about a global organized protest!
I have a feeling that it just doesn’t matter to many anymore.
Distracted by being dumbed-down with entertainment programs, our faces buried in our phones, so nobody really talks to each other anymore and our own selfish “right-this-moment” concerns, seem to have blinded us to the reality of things.

Depressing post, yes...but somebody has to pay attention and soon!

With the U.S. abandoning its long and medium range ballistic weapons treaty and soon to no doubt set up bases surrounding China, we are now more than ever faced with a crisis that could be a permanent end to civilization.
In Germany now, the extremists on the right are gaining ground, just as they seem to be in the U.S.


Also now with Trumps buddy-buddy relationship on ice with Putin, growing economic tensions and competition with China, it is looking more and more like we are headed to a nuclear Third World War. This time, there will be no winners in the end.

Even for those elite that have their bunkers buried deep underground with enough provisions to last 30 years, should they survive, will open up to a barren and lifeless planet.
I say good for them, they deserved it, they brought this on with their avarice and hatred.

They will truly be the ones trapped in hell.
